📁 2. Local On-Device Storage & Files App Access

All video files, extracted MP3 audio recordings, and media thumbnails downloaded or converted within HD Video Downloader are stored exclusively on your iPhone or iPad.

  • Document Storage: All downloaded media and extracted audio (MP3) files are saved into the app's local document directory.
  • Apple Files App Integration: Files saved in the document directory are directly visible, playable, and manageable via the native iOS Files app (under "On My iPhone > HD Video Downloader").
  • Zero Cloud Uploads: No media content or URL streams are ever sent to, mirrored on, or retained by external servers.
  • User Deletion: You retain complete control over your content. Deleting media in the app or via the Files app removes it permanently from your storage.

🎵 3. Video Tools & Audio Extraction (FFmpeg)

The application includes built-in offline media utilities such as Video to MP3, Video Trimming, Audio Removal, and playback speed adjustments.

  • All media encoding, decoding, and audio extractions are executed 100% locally on your device hardware using embedded processing engines.
  • No video or audio frames are transmitted over the internet for processing.
  • Extracted MP3 files are automatically indexed in your local library and saved for offline listening.

🖼️ 4. iOS System Permissions

HD Video Downloader requests only the minimal system permissions required to deliver core functionality:

  • Photo Library (Add-Only): Requested only if you enable "Auto-Save to Photos" in Settings to export videos to your Camera Roll. The app never reads or accesses your private personal photo album.
  • Network Access: Used solely to establish direct connections between your device and the user-specified media server to stream or download media. No telemetry or analytics payloads are dispatched.

💎 5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

HD Video Downloader offers optional Premium Auto-Renewable Subscriptions unlocking unlimited downloads, full resolution options, audio extraction tools, and an ad-free experience.

  • All financial transactions, payment processing, renewals, and cancellations are handled securely and exclusively by Apple through StoreKit.
  • We never receive, access, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment credentials.
  • You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > [Apple ID] > Subscriptions.

🔒 6. Children's Privacy

HD Video Downloader complies fully with children's online privacy protection regulations. Because we collect zero personal data from any user, we do not solicit or gather data from children under 13 years of age.
